In this workshop, performers from the Divadlo Štúdio tanca and students from the MediaLab* studio explored together what happens when live movement becomes data. Over the course of an intensive week, they mapped the performers' movements into code that controlled sound, light, projection, and even a robot. Feedback was then naturally generated, influencing the performers in their choreography. The experiment revealed how closely dance and multimedia mirror each other in rhythm, structure and improvisation. It showed that technology can be not only a tool but also an equal creative partner.
